Вместе с ней поставляется библиотека Libcurl, предоставляющая API-интерфейс к функциональности cURL. Библиотека и программа позволяют серверу передавать файлы на удаленный компьютер, используя HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, GOPHER, LDAP, DICT, TELNET, FILE и др.
